Welcome to the AMUD Web Site. Acton Municipal Utility District, (AMUD), was created in 1982 to serve the DeCordova/Acton, Pecan and Indian Harbor residents. Acton Municipal Utility District is a non-profit governmental entity directed by five elected Officials. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulates water quality and wastewater services. AMUD's water quality meets or exceeds all Federal and State drinking water quality standards. The District provides water to all District members, and wastewater to District members in DeCordova Bend Estates and areas of Pecan Plantation and Acton. Over the years we have grown from a customer base of 2000 households to a current customer base of 6795 households. Our water is supplied from 22 wells located throughout the District and is supplemented with treated surface water from Lake Granbury, (water treated by the BRA at the SWATS Plant here in Acton). Our Staff is available to assist you Monday Through Friday8:00 am to 4:30pm |
