Master Plumbers license is required for new construction and remodels or additions that make changes to or adds to existing water and sewer lines.
Master Electrician license is required for new construction and remodels or additions that make changes to or adds to existing water and sewer lines. Grinder Pump installations require a Master Electrician.
Irrigator licenses is required for new sprinkler system installations or when a bad backflow device is replaced.
AMUD will perform the backflow testing on an annual basis to ensure continued protection, ($20.00 fee per assembly), a tester list is also available upon request.
AMUD will need the original state approved test sheet on file in the office if another tester certifies assembly along with a copy of current Backflow tester license.
