  • Failure to pay an outstanding bill or enter into a deferred payment agreement with 26 days of issuance.
  • Failure to meet terms of a deferred payment agreement.
  • Violation of the Districts rules for the use of service in such a manner that interferes with the service of others or the operation of non standard equipment, provided that the District make every attempt to notify the customer of the problem and allow ample time for the situation to be remedied.
  • Failure to comply with the Districts application and deposit requirements.
  • Tampering with the Districts meter or equipment or bypassing the same.
  • When a dangerous condition exists on a customers service line posing a threat to the public water supply.
  • Failure to repay, within a notified time period, a returned check and the returned check fee.

AMUD will collect a $17.50 collection fee when a service representative must be sent to collect from the customer for past due amounts.

Service accounts disconnected due to non payment will not be reconnected after 9:00 pm.  There is a $42.50 reconnection fee in addition to the $17.50 collection fee.
