WE ARE MOVING – JUNE 14, 2010

Construction of a new Office/Service Center facility for Acton Municipal Utility District (AMUD) is near completion.  The new facility is located at 6420 Lusk Branch Court, just south of the Fall Creek Highway entrance to DeCordova Bend Estates.

Over the years as the District has grown, the resources needed to maintain the water and wastewater systems have grown as well.  We have been at the old location for approximately 25 years, and have simply run out of room.  The new site will provide the District with much needed expansion for material and equipment storage, as well as enhanced customer service.  For customer convenience, a drive through payment window and night drop box is included, as well as expanded meeting room facilities. 

In the interest of promoting water conservation, the District plans to incorporate native, drought resistant plants into the landscape areas.  In addition, a rainwater recovery system will assist with landscape irrigation.

We are excited to show the new facility to our customers.  Please come inside and take a look or simply pull up and use the convenient drive through window.
